Pastor Taylor Mills Cornelius

Pastor Taylor Mills Cornelius

Associate Pastor

I was born into a church-going home in New Jersey, and spent my childhood active in church, the arts, spending time in nature, and volunteering at a local living history farm.  The church nurtured me into a life of faith, and I left NJ for Pennsylvania to attend Eastern University, majoring in Theology.  From Eastern, I moved on to Princeton Theological Seminary and attained my MDiv.  PTS inspired within me a passion for ministry and serving God’s church.

I have loved the arts since childhood, when I was active in theater, dance, and choirs.  I love incorporating the arts into ministry, worship, and children’s/youth programs.  The arts often provide ways to praise God, lament sorrows, and draw together as a community that words alone cannot achieve.

As the Associate Pastor, my work engages me with preaching, music, pastoral care, and working with children, youth, and young families.  My greatest joy in ministry is seeing a young person grasp the truth of God’s love for them for the first time, or watching as youth dive deeper into Scripture and “light bulbs” go off as they form connections.  I have a passion for poetry and prayer, and incorporate these forms of writing into my sermons.

My greatest blessing is my family, and there’s nothing I love more than to spend time with my husband and daughter.  But I also love the sense of family that exists at WPC, and invite all to come and experience it for themselves.

I can be reached through e-mail (pastortaylor@wallingfordpres.org) or by phone at (610) 566-1644

Zoe Andrews

Youth Ministry Assistant!

Hi! I’m Zoe Andrews, the new Youth Ministry Assistant! Four years ago, I was invited as a
guest to the Youth Group’s Thanksgiving party and have been active in it and the worship
services at the church ever since. In the summer of 2018, I went on the Mission Trip to West
Virginia where we volunteered at a day camp for underprivileged children, painted the
community center, helped at an animal shelter, and had lots of fun along the way. This
experience inspired me to work with more kids which I did vacation bible school and other
church activities.

Currently I am enjoying being a Sunday school assistant for 3 rd to 5 th graders.
Currently, I’m at Delaware County Community College studying Early Childhood Education. I
am very interested in science so I hope to have a future focus with elementary science education.
As well as children, I love animals and am an avid horseback rider. I had a lot of interesting
experiences giving pony rides to kids at the stables and as an assistant in an orthodontic office. In
my free time I enjoy playing guitar, watching movies, blasting music in the car with my best
friends, and teaching my dog Remi tricks.
I am excited about the opportunity to continue with the Youth Group in this new way!

I can be reached through e-mail ( zandrews2012@gmail.com) or by phone at 484-844-3217.
