Stephen Ministry
When Needed
A system of training and organizing laypersons for caring ministry in and around congregations. Stephen Ministers offer confidential care to those who are experiencing a difficult time. For more information, please contact one of our pastors at (610) 566-1644.
Congregational Wellness Ministry
When Needed
Provides information, knowledge and skills to help raise awareness of the relationship between health and spiritual well-being and encourages the understanding that health is a gift. For more information contact Cyndi Lacroix, R.N. at cwmnurse@wallingfordpres.org or (724) 991-9631.
Cancer Support Group
Periodic Meetings
A support group where current patients and survivors can share their experiences and journeys. The informal group meets periodically and as one member said, “we have a very warm feeling toward one another.”
Deacons and Deacon Helpers
help when needed
The Board of Deacons provides care by distributing emergency food and Thanksgiving and Easter baskets, offering financial assistance, visiting sick and elderly members and coordinating semi-annual blood drives and the annual Giving Tree (where members buy Christmas gifts for needy individuals in the community).Deacon helpers (including those not on the Board of Deacons) assist congregation families in special need by providing meals, shopping, respite care, home repairs and transportation to appointments.
